Requirements

Building the package requires:

• CriTcl 2 (http://wiki.tcl.tk/14655)

• a working FWTools installation (http://fwtools.maptools.org/)

• the "bin" folder of the FWTools installation must be on the path.

The distribution includes binary extensions for Windows and Linux i686 which have been built against FWTools 1.1.3.

The Windows binary extension was built using MingW (gcc version 3.4.2) and requires the FWTools bin folder to be on the path.

Using the Linux binary extension requires the "lib" folder of the FWTools installation to be on the library search path (set LD_LIBRARY_PATH or add it to the ld.so.cache file).
